Commodore - Yeah ive heard of that too, its not just a rumour.

Its a way to get tigers to mature without being domesticated, in a similar enviroment to their home...
Reply:This is so funny....
Reply:HILARIOUS!!

So Funny!

But yes, tigers are not indiginous to Kenya and you find lions all over Africa and South Africa has a lot of lions in their natural habitat. In reserves and away from people of course...

No tigers though. They come from Asia.
Reply:Lions not tigers.
Reply:We have lots of zoo's and game reserves but they definately not running around in my back yard which I wish.
Reply:What about da bears?

Lions, and Tigers and BEARS - oh my.

They run the joint.
Reply:Lions are found in Africa but Tigers are Asian animals , You can find them in zoos.
Reply:Lions are from Africa and we have our fair share in South Africa.

Tigers are from India / Asia although there are some in South African zoos and game ranches. They are not from Africa
Reply:You do find them, but lions will only be in zoo's %26amp; nature reserves %26amp; tigers will only be found in zoo's as SA is not their natural habitat.
Reply:Cakes, that was sooooo cute! Well, as everyone else has already said, Lions yes, Tigers no. Although I,m sure that I heard that a few tigers were brought to the Namibian desert on a trial-run? Does anyone know anything about it or was it just a rumour?

*** Thanks for confirming that guys, now I can relax, I,m not going senile as someone suggested when I mentioned the Tiger story. LOL. That's why I love you all.
