I want to see big cats, such as tigers and lions, but not at a zoo.?

Where is a good place to go? I live in Dallas,Texas. We have a couple of great zoos here. There is a tiger refuge in Tyler Texas.I went there and it was wonderful! I want to go to a place like that again, but of course somewhere else in the states. HELP?

There is a drive-through zoo, the Wildlife Safari, in Oregon, south of Roseburg, in Oregon. It has some lions in a special enclosure you drive through, and tigers in an area you drive by, not through. And lots of other animals to see.

Reply:go to Asia or Africa
Reply:Vegas. Sigfreid and Roy have their tigers on display at the Mirage.
Reply:There is a wild animal refuge somewhere in Arkansas that I have visited and they had mostly cats at that time. I think it was near Eureka Springs but not positive. Try searching Internet for wild cat refuge...??
Reply:Somewhere else in the states or in the state of TX? If you are willing to travel, go north east to North Carolina and see North Carolina's Zoological Park. www.nczoo.org. You will see animals in their natural habitat. This is a world-class Zoo, home to more than 1,100 animals. Just NE of Charlotte in Asheboro.
Reply:San Diego Wild Animal Park has a drive through to see the animals roaming around.
