Lions and tigers! oh my!?

what does the tiger and the lion eat that is the same and is a carnivore?

and here's a question that out of the blue: What eats a purple finch?

please i need help!

Lions and tigers! oh my!?
lions and tigers do not eat carnivores because it is against the rules of energy transfer. May be there can be an exception.
Reply:It's not against the rules of energy transfer for a carnivore to eat a carnivore - it's just inefficient. (This is according to the rule of ten, which says that only approximately 1/10 of the energy in the organism gets passed on up the food chain.)

However, it's highly unlikely that you would find common prey, considering that the two big cats inhabit different geographical areas. Also, these cats are not known for going after carnivores, but for hunting big herbivores. (Well, I guess they know what's efficient.)
Reply:they eat hippopotamus, which is in fact a carnivore.

to the other Q I have no idea.
Reply:in relation to the purple finch probably cats, foxes etc..
