Do you think humans have characteristics of all animal species?

Or just some?

for example we definitely have some of the same characteristics as apes and monkeys, but do you think we are anything like lions, tigers or dogs?

What about squirrels or lizards?

Or do you think we are just an alien specie all together?

Do you think humans have characteristics of all animal species?
apes are probebly second up in the food chain..and in the process of evolution...it';s all about evolution! Darwinism...

Reply:althought some humans seem to have the moral values of animals, I dont think so,,sure would hate to see people sitting around acting like some dumb dog on a porch!
Reply:Nope.
Reply:Every human charateristic can be traced to lower animals, The most primitive part of the human brain is like a lizard brain.
Reply:I think we share a lot of characteristics with other mammals. Our digestive systems are all fairly similar, we all have lungs, we all have blood, we all have sex to reproduce. Most mammal mothers raise and protect their babies, so do we. Each species has its own traits and characteristics but the basic similarities are very apparent.
Reply:We share many attributes with mammals. We give live birth, we have a regular body temperature, we have red blood, we have hair, we have canine teeth....the list can go on for a while.

We are mammals and we are biologically considered animals. We all evolved on land so we have similar attributes, such as giving live birth, breathing oxygen....of course there are many exceptions such as platypus's and bats.
Reply:ask animals only
Reply:human are the first class animal
Reply:yup.
Reply:It is a characteristic of spiders to spin webs

Human do not spin webs.

Therefore, human do not have the characteristics of spiders.

If not spiders, then n ot all animal species.

Q.E.D.

ADDENDUM:

Paradox,

A spider spins a web based upon a specific biological function. Outside of Peter Parker the rest of us do not have that innate function. To say that this is identical with a tool human create from something outside of ourselves is not an accurate comparison.

Speaking technically, there is not a unified predicate. An accidental similarity of subject is not enough.

The syllogism stands.
Reply:You should look at an evolution chart. The similarities will be found there. Also, there has been a lot of evidence lately that many mammals have the capacity for empathy, or for recognizing that other animals and humans have minds (the ability lacking in autistics), and so on. Honestly, I suspect it all comes down to brain size and structure, and were it not for those differences, we'd all be pretty much the same.
Reply:I think that we do have some characteristics. Like we look a little like apes, we hunt in packs like wolves, some of us are agile like the lizard, some of us are noble and ferocious like the tigers and lions. So in a way we learned from the animals, but our minds make us who we are.
