Lions in the Super Bowl?

In 1935, with the victorious Lions and Red Wings, Detroit was referred to as the "City of Champions. "

We all saw the Tigers embarrass and completely humiliate themselves in the World Series. We witnessed The Red Wings complete choke job prior to their big dance. And then their was the Pistons with their completely beleiveable impersonation of the Atlanta Hawks during their last stop before their big dance. Obviously, only one question remains....

Detroit -- Choke City?

Or...

LIons in the Super Bowl?

Lions in the Super Bowl?
Choke City totally!!
Reply:never
Reply:The only Detroit Lions at the Super Bowl will be the ones with tickets in their hands through the turnstiles
Reply:never going to happen.
Reply:The lions are so mis-managed that they couldn't even keep "Barry Sanders" from a Franchise tag, which is nearly inescapable, What did Barry do? He quit! Playing for them was not worth continuing his career. How bad is that? The lions would be lucky to even get any TV broadcast exposure! Let alone have a winning season or a Monday night slot! Sorry, but at least you have an underdog to cheer for. Everybody loves an underdog when they start winning, but that probably won't happen for you until they clean house!
