Who would win? a female lion or tiger?

idk... i would guess a tiger, bcuz it is bigger. lions will attack right away, but a tiger will learn about its pray and attack, almost like a sniper...i would guess a tiger.

The Lionesses are strong and fast.


They are also powerful too. The lioness does like 85% of the hunting in a Pride.


The male lion prefers to lay around and be lazy.

Tigers are larger and stronger, but lions generally have more fighting experience - they often clash with other prides, whereas tigers tend to avoid conflict whenever possible. It would depend on the individuals involved, their age, size, health, experience, temperament, etc.





There are numerous records of fights between the species - in some cases the tiger wins, in some cases the lion.

Reply:The tiger. The tiger is be much larger, 500lbs compared to 330. In the animal kingdom bigger usually defeats smaller. Lionesses hunt in packs, but tigers hunt alone so they would be ready for a one vs. one fight. Don't give the male lions such a bad rap because they don't hunt, they are still extremely strong.
