A velociraptor, a man, or a tiger, who would swim faster?

if the man were using rubber flippers, and if the man wouldn't be using them....





I think humans swim faster than most "mainly-terrestial" animals: faster than lions, tigers, horses, impalas, cheetahs, velociraptors, utah-raptors, etc





even without rubber flippers, and now with fippers?





what are (or might have been) these animals speeds? and the human speed, with and without, rubber flippers??





specially for short distances....

Man would be faster. The freestyle swimming is very fast by mammal standards. The dog-paddle style of swimming used by the Tiger would be slow, and not meant to be used for catching prey. Velociraptor doesn't look like it could swim at all.
Reply:Velociraptors are pretty ridgid about the torso so I wouldn't expect him to beat a man in flippers, but I have seen video of tigers swimming very fast. I think that some people in flippers might beat him though. He would certainly have the adrenaline advantage.

Reply:Tigers love water of the cat family. I'm certain their fair swimmer. Probably not good as fishes and amphibians. But they fair swimmers.





Not all men know how to swim or great swimmers. Are hands are exactly and feet aren't exactly made for paddling especially the hands whose fingers are too spaced apart.





The velociraptors are worst. Even the fingers in their feet are apart. And I haven't heard or read that velociraptors swim. So I'll assume they can't swim.





If man is faster than a tiger in swimming. I can't conclude. But if I were a man and there is a tiger and a velociraptor swimming beside me or behind me. I'd swim very fast to run away.

it spend most of its time in humid tropical jungles that are full of water


its body is very long ,it has imensily powerfull leg muscles ,with huge paws


i would not suggest to go in the water if there i a tiger in it .even with flippers ,
Reply:the tigershark would definitely win. Actually, we would never know. the tiger would eat the man, and the velociraptor would eat the tiger. Then the velociraptor would need the newspaper so he can go think for a while.


The speed of the animals would be close to mach 1. with a deviant of 2.4%.

that being said no doubt in my mind the velocirapotor. u see i too am on crack and think that those crazy mofo's from jurassic park were crazy fast on the ground so y not the water? and theres no way of proving me wrong all u other people hahahaha
