If we put male adult bengal tiger in african , what would you think will happen to the tigers.?
since the natural habitiat of the bengal tigers is fastly diminishing due to deforestation and increased human intrusions, there are already many experiments going on to introduce the bengal tigers to other habitats.

a documentary on discovery channel showed two bengal tigers being raised on the african bushland since the african bushland somewhat resembles the natural habitat of the bengal tigers.

however the show never said what really happened to the tigers after they were introduced into the wild.

but if ever a tiger comes into conflict with a lion, the tiger will be the one to lose the battle.

this is because, eventhough the tigers are bigger than the lions physically, they are not made for the rough and tumbles.

tigers are solitary creatures that hunt their prey animals alone and get together with other tigers only for mating. there is no scope for the tiger to hone its fighting skills.

but the lion on the other hand lives in a group and has to continually defend its territory and mates from other lions.

lionesses fight within the pride to maintain order and also to defend their young ones against other predators such as the hyena.

so when it comes down to a fight, the lion will most probably win unless it an old lion or a very young one. in which case the tiger might have the upper hand.

but all said, there are other big cats in africa such as the cheetah and the leopard and they live alongside the lions all the while competing for the food and territory.

so if the tigers get used to the new lifestyle they can and will survive and even thrive in the african bushland.
