ok im 18 rite now i have only seen these guys win one playoff game an i was to young to really no anything about football some im guessing like 98 lol i really do have to stop getting my expactations up for this team im just going to stay lion free for the rest of my life im not going to watch these guys or even hear someone talk about the lions i hate everything about the lions i think they are cursed i just hope one day i get to see them win a superbowl before i die tear tear lol im so glad to have the pistons tigers and red wings singed a disgraced lions fan

Well they need to get players that will play and buy into the system. Get rid of the cancers in the lockerroom. Get rid of Matt Millen. That would be a start.

Reply:It won't be that long. As bad as they're doing, they still are better than they were last year. I don't know the exact stat but I'm pretty sure it was something like 4-12.





They beat Da Bears twice this year. That's two more times than last year. They would've made the playoffs too this year if it weren't for that losing streak after they were 6-2.
Reply:Me and my whole family are Browns fans. Were in the same boat as you. You just cant predict stuff like this though. The Lions will have their day though, you never know what will happen. How about the Patriots? They lost like 3 or 4 Super Bowls before the new millenium. Then,2001 rolls around, Drew Bledsoe got hurt, in came Tom Brady and next thing you know, they have 3 Super Bowl Titles on the verge of 4 this year. You never know if you have Tom Brady sitting on your sideline, just waiting for his chance.

Every year I tell my self I can't take it anymore then the next year I'm sitting there watching it un-ravel. They really had me this year though with their 6-2 record. All I can say is there pathetic. They won a championship back in 57, 50 years ago. It wouldn't be so bad if they at least had a decent season once in a while. It might be the GM, but it's definitely the ownership too!


Believe it or not they had a pretty decent history, they came up here from Portsmouth, Oh. in 1934 and won championships in that decade as well as the 40's and 50's. I could rant and rave all day, but their still my favorite team, the underdogs that one day will make their mark.


We did have another championship pro football team here in Detroit ( well Pontiac ), the Michigan Panthers went all the way in 1983 ( usfl ).They merged with Oakland the next year, then the whole league folded shortly after that. Yeah at least we have the Pistons, Wings, and even the Tigers. Don't forget the Wolverines either, their usually in the top 10.
